THE MESH  complies with all pertinent statutory Privacy Policy provisions and The Mesh will only process Users personal data in compliance with the GDPR. Personal information is entered in the registration pages of THE MESH on an expressly voluntary basis on the part of the User. The Mesh receive the user’s Personal Data by tracking the interaction with the services (e.g. using cookies), and when tracking visits, clicks, contacts. The Mesh may collect the User IP address to conduct system administration. In some instances, The Mesh may ask for User’ consent for collecting and using your Personal Data for the purposes, e.g. for sending marketing materials, such as platform updates and newsletters or when you participate in any online survey. THE MESH collects limited personal information, protects the data according to statutory provisions and does not transmit it to third parties, except in the cases mentioned under Articles 2.2 and 3. 

2. Handling of Personal Data by THE MESH
2.1 Registration Data 
To grant usage of THE MESH services, THE MESH  collects, saves and processes personal information as Registration Data. THE MESH  collects personal information as far as this is required in order to verify the User during the registration process, to establish the contractual relationship and its content, and to use THE MESH  services.

However, Users can privately share their information after their first contact in The Mesh chat windows.  
When posting as a Seller, the Company name is shown in the offer post and visible to other Users. 
Upon deletion of an Account by the User, THE MESH  will eliminate all the User ́s service requests, even if they have not yet expired.  
THE MESH  is entitled to keep a security copy of Personal Data for as long as this is required for billing or other contractual purposes regarding the User. THE MESH  may also save Personal Data in order to fulfil existing legal, statutory or contractual obligations.

The Mesh is encrypted with state-of-the-art TLS technology. All data is stored on encrypted disk space and hosted in a secure European cloud infrastructure. The software development follows security best practices. Further, we frequently test our website for possible security vulnerabilities. The Mesh continuously adopt new technologies in order to ensure the confidentiality of data transmitted via the Internet. The Mesh will store User’s Personal Data as long as required to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement, unless a longer or shorter retention period is required or permitted by law.

THE MESH  Services, upon registration by a User with a Username and password, use cookies, with which the User may be identified during its visit (so-called session cookies). A cookie is saved on the User ́s computer for the duration of its visit of the THE MESH  Web Site. Cookies allow The Mesh to recognize and track you upon future visits. The User has the right to choose whether or not to accept cookies. The User can also block cookies by changing the browser settings so that cookies from the Chemberry or third-party website cannot be placed on User’s computer or mobile device.

Each time a page is accessed, access data are saved in a protocol file – the Server Log. THE MESH  records the User ́s IP Address, the date and time of the access, the page accessed as well as the operating system and browser used.  Furthermore, for statistical purposes, anonymous access data are recorded that describe the browser settings (browser version, javascript activation, flash installation) and the operating system. Through the statistical analysis of the data collected, THE MESH  is able to continually improve its services and cater to the usage needs of its Users. Statistical data and evaluations are exclusively kept on secure THE MESH  servers and are not made available to any third parties.
